This is Our Life

Yesterday I decided it was time to get a new picture for the blog header. Never an easy task to get my terrible threesome all in one picture let alone to all smile nicely for the camera. As you can tell I was unsuccessful getting a wonderfully posed, smiley picture of all 3 of our beautiful blessings, however what I captured was our day in the life, a real picture of our kids, doing what they do best, being silly. While I didn't capture my nice posed picture I did capture a few good ones. My boys love their sister and she loves them:)

Happy Valentines Day

Daddy made some heart shaped pancakes!(with M&M's for Gabe)

and for some reason I decided that Callie should try out her first piggy tail on Valentines Day(if you look closely you can see it sticking straight up on the top of her head, the dark couch was not the best background to try and get a picture)
We also decorated cookies for our friends but I didn't take any pictures, too busy trying to keep little hands out of the frosting:) We met my parents for lunch ant Perfect Games and the boys got to play the games for their Valentines present from them...they had lots of fun!

Winter Boredom Beaters

Wow this seems like a loooooooong winter. We have had to create our own fun more then once to try and quash those winter boredom bouts.
Activity #1 Showing off our muscles

Activity #2 Shaving Cream Fun(and the clean-up that followed shaving cream fun)

Activity #3 Making Callie Grin(and one without the fingers in the mouth:)

Activity #4 Watching Daddy make Pancakes...lots of pancakes! He tried out chocolate pancakes and cinnamon bun pancakes the other day...they were gooood.

Hopefully this lovely, mild Winter will depart from us soon but in the meantime we will have to think up some more winter boredom beaters. Any suggestions?

4 Months!

Callie turned 4 months old yesterday. This picture captures her well right now as she discovered her thumb and hasn't looked back since. She started sleeping through the night this month(with a little help from Mom and Dad) and became our smiling, jabbering baby girl! Callie loves her excersaucer and and will stand in it for long periods of time. She also gives the biggest open mouthed grins every time you pick her up out of her crib. She has become a pretty happy baby girl and loves to be entertained by her big brothers!
