An Astronaut and a Cheetah
Another Halloween has come and gone and this year trick or treating was a little more exciting then last year. Our Halloween festivities started on Thursday with a trip down to Krugers to make and decorate Halloween cookies. Gabe wasn't too interested in the cutting out cookies part but did enjoy putting sprinkles on them, and of course eating them. Ty didn't help with the cookies but added to the Halloween ambiance with his jack-o-lantern t-shirt. I bought it at Target in the dollar section and didn't think I would get to use it, at least not without a long sleeved onesie underneath but it was a beautiful day so he got to wear it without the long sleeves. Friday turned out to be just as nice of day and we got our costumes on to go out trick or treating after nap time. My cheetah woke up first and actually kept his hood up most of the time. The cheetah nose was complete with a cheetah growl when you press it. My astronaut woke up just in time to go so we got his moon shoes(just black target shoes, but he called them his moon shoes) on and anxiously awaited Daddy's arrival. Clark came to trick or treat with us this year as well. All the boys had fun getting their candy. The little boys had more fun taking their candy out of their buckets. Our neighborhood was great for trick or treating, lots of lights on and lots of kids. After we were done in our neighborhood we drove over to Grandma and Grandpa's so they could see our cute trick or treaters. The cheetah at this point was getting pretty tired so we came home, ate some pizza and headed to bed, but not before an attempt to get a picture of them both looking at the camera in their costumes. It was a beautiful day. The astronaut and the cheetah slept very well(and so did their mom and dad).
