Vacation Day 4
Monday morning when we got up we headed right down to the beach to see if we could find any cool and unique shells. The boys were instructed that we were not going in the water only our feet could get wet and for the most part they did a good job:) We did find many good, whole shells and not just broken pieces. There was a fisherman with 3 poles set up on the beach as well and it was just a beautiful morning to be by the ocean. When we got back to our room I snapped a few pictures of the garden area of our hotel, it was really pretty with lots of unique plants and trees. This was originally launch day and it would have been beautiful! We knew that this would not be the day before even arriving in Florida though as they announced a postponement until Tuesday on our drive down because of Hydrogen(scratch that Helium, as I've been corrected by my husband) leaks. Since there was no launch we decided to check out one of the nearby parks. Aside from having to pay 10$ to get into the park we really enjoyed it. There was a large fishing pier with lots of fisherman out for the day. While we walked along it there were really pretty views of the beach and Port Canaveral. We also saw a few sea turtles hanging out by the pier. Of course no park is complete without a playground and once again pretty sure this was the boy's favorite part of the day.Callie's just needing to catch onto the whole walking thing before she can join her big brothers! The rest of the day we took it easy and just spent some time together. I took the boys to the pool, which they loved and just enjoyed our time together in the sun and warm weather!
