Tailgating

Saturday we hosted a tailgate at our house. Since it was an evening game Carl had time to smoke some pork loin(which he did a fabulous job) We had many friends and family over for the day and lots and lots of food.

Carl even mowed a big I into our yard and spray painted it. That evening we walked over to the game with some friends who were also going, Gabe and Olivia held hands most of the way and it was funny to watch them interact, they are pretty much the same age(Liv is 3 months older) but she is such a little mother, reminding Gabe that he needs to walk and not get too far ahead of us, so cute! Since Gabe is a member of the Little Clone Club he got to stand down on the field and welcome the team. Carl took the camera with him and tried to get a few shots, it was pretty busy down there though so he had to keep Gabe on his shoulders the whole time so he could see and didn't get lost. Gabe tuckered our from his lack of nap and late bedtime the night before shortly after the 2nd quarter started so he and I walked home and he went to bed early. It was great weather and a great day. We couldn't have asked for better.
